Two premier venues

Performances at the Kauffman Center happen in two venues: Muriel Kauffman Theatre and Helzberg Hall. The 1,800-seat Muriel Kauffman Theatre boasts a red color scheme and shimmering seating boxes, a design reminiscent of 18th- and 19th-century opera houses. Helzberg Hall’s 1,600 seats are arranged in the round, with no seat more than 100 feet from the stage. The Julia Irene Kauffman Casavant Organ, Opus 3875, provides a stunning backdrop to the stage and features more than 5,500 pipes.
